Does iWash fix buttons, tears and provide alterations?

Yes, please let us know in detail what you would like done. If it is an alteration, we will make an appointment for you to visit the iWash store or we will arrange for our tailor to visit you at your home.

Ordering

Do I get an iWash laundry & garment bags with my first order?

Every new customer gets an iWash biodegradable laundry bag and/or garment bag. If you order Dry Cleaning or Wash & Press you will also get an iWash garment laundry bag.

How do I know you received my order?

On the Orders screen you will see all of your current and past orders with us. You can click on any of them to get real-time statuses and see exactly where you are in the process. We let you know when your pickup is in progress, when the cleaning is in progress, when we send the clothes out for delivery, and when the process is complete.

What happens if I Change the Time or Cancel?

You can always edit the time of a pickup or delivery up to 1 hour before the requested time window. If you cancel the order within 1 hour of your delivery, or you miss your pickup or delivery window, we may charge a $10 cancellation fee.

What is The Turnaround Time For Receiving My Order?

Wash & Fold has a 24-hour turnaround time and Dry Cleaning has a 72-hour turnaround time.

Is there a minimum order?

Yes. We have a $20 minimum order, which you can reach with any combination of Wash & Fold and Dry Cleaning.

Am I able to provide instructions and direction for my order?

Of course! Either “Pickup” and “Delivery” iWash allows notes, instructions or directions. If you want to specify care instructions, add them in the notes when you’re placing the order. You can specify cold or hot water, low to high heat for drying, hang drying up to 5 specific items, unscented detergent, no fabric softener, and so on. Any specifics are at no extra charge. We will make every effort to accommodate your request!

What is The iWash Pick-Up & Delivery Schedule?

Our morning hours are: 8 AM – 11 AM Monday – Friday Saturday and Sunday, 9 AM – Noon weekends. Daily Evening Hours are 6:30 PM - 9 PM every day.

How do I reschedule a pickup or drop off?

Missed your appointment or simply have to change the time of an existing appointment? Call our store: 718-932-1351 or contact: support@iwash.nyc with your desired new time and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Laundry & Dry Cleaning

What is the value proposition that iWash provides?

Wash & Fold is $0.99 per pound. Shirts are laundered, hung and prepared professionally at $1.50 per shirt. When you return the hangers with your follow up order the cost per shirt is only $1.00. We protect the environment and help save money for our customers. Check our pricing list for an itemized list of Dry Cleaning prices and additional Wash & Fold prices.

What is the iWash Approach to Laundry?

Everything is completed in our store. We separate your whites and colors. Whites are washed in hot water with bleach, and colors are washed in cold water unless you tell us otherwise. We use Tide regular detergent and fabric softener on every order, but offer an unscented option as well. Everything is dried on regular heat. If you want to specify instructions, please let us know in the “Pickup” notes when you’re placing the order. You can specify cold or hot water, low to high heat for drying, hang drying up to 5 specific items, unscented detergent, no fabric softener, and so on.

Where do we take the laundry?

All laundry and dry-cleaning are processed at our iWash store.

Is your dry cleaning green?

Our dry cleaning is taken to an offsite facility which employs earth-friendly cleaning methods.

Do You Clean Leather?

Unfortunately, given the delicate nature of leather, we do not clean leather items at iWash. We recommend strongly that all Leather items be taken to a specialist for optimal results.

Do you offer special detergent?

We offer Free & Clear detergent, a scentless, dye free detergent for sensitive and/or allergy prone skin. We also have our standard detergent. Our team member will ask for your detergent preference upon arrival or, in the event you will not be home, we recommend adding it to your order notes.

Payment

How will I know how much I was charged?

Although we only charge your card on file after your clothes are completed, we understand that waiting that long just to see a receipt doesn’t make much sense. That’s why we send you a receipt to your mobile phone or email with your total within hours of your order being picked up. That way you’ll know what the order total is before we charge anything to your card. Additionally, all pickup team members carry with them a small digital scale and will weigh your bag of laundry at the door to give you an estimate of your wash & fold order. The official weight gets entered once your bag reaches the iWash Store where it is weighed by calibrated scales approved by the local city government.

How do I pay?

We charge your card on file after your order is complete. Please note that we place a temporary $6.99 hold for every order. It gets released as soon as your order is completed.
